This is the private community network for the 1% Club. 

We challenge you to be active 5 days a week and for every day you are, we'll plant a tree. We’re aiming to get 1% of the planet active to plant millions of trees  each month.

Taking on a challenge that lasts a year (or more!) is not easy. Committing to every week, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing or whatever is happening in your life, will need support and grit, so we’ve set up a private community for those who want it. A place we can all rally each other when times are hard and celebrate our wins when times are good. Our own little support club (who doesn’t need that right now?).

 Every 4 weeks, we’ll send you a printable calendar so you can tick off the days. We’ll provide you with cheesy motivational mantras, inspirational insights and a place to highlight all our wins. We’ll also provide regular Impact Reports, so you can remind yourself why you’re doing it when times are tough. 

And in return for all your hard work, we’ll plant you 260 trees during the year and change the world.

A few facts that might help convince you or anyone you know:

• Inactivity kills 1 in 10 people – the same as smoking.
• Being active for 30 minutes a day, five times a week reduces your risk of early death by 25%
• 260 trees would fill a football stadium, grow to provide oxygen for 27 people and provide habitats for 78,000 living creatures.
• If we get 1% of just the UK population alone involved, we’d plant over 11 million trees a month (that's a challenge worth trying).
